INTERVIEW

I enrolled at IUJ because I wanted to work in a job that would be a bridge between my home country of Vietnam and the world. Since graduating, I have been working at the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam as a project coordinator for the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP). The aim of the GGP is to enhance the wellbeing of people in Vietnam at the grassroots level through various forms of cooperation that Vietnamese people need in their daily lives. The things I learned at IUJ, including knowledge of Japan's Official Development Assistance (ODA) and humanitarian assistance, and pluralistic ways of thinking that my classmates who came from around the world taught me, have supported my current activities. I will keep striving to make use of my experience and education to improve the wellbeing of the local people in all aspects, including health and agriculture.
